Students Team Up to Update Property COnditions Survey

If you’ve been out and about in East Trenton over the last few weeks, you may have noticed some new faces around the neighborhood. City planning students from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University joined members of the East Trenton Collaborative to kick off a neighborhood-wide survey of property conditions and vacancy on January 9th. The survey will continue through January and February, by car and by foot until information is recorded about each of the 1,700 parcels. The Collaborative will share the information collected with the City of Trenton to advocate for rehabilitation and the strategic demolition of vacant structures in poor condition. Thanks so much to Caroline Milliken, Vineeta Kapahi, Dan Coghlan, Steph Neil, Micheal Shirley, Nicole Marrocco, and Giancarlo Di Lonardo for helping the Collaborative tackle this feat!
