Princeton Junction Initiative event will be hosted at the East Trenton Collaborative. Based on our partners availability, we will be offering selection of groceries, hot food, cooking workshops, physical and mental health services and advocacy, vaccines, legal services and more!
The Benevolence Project Inc. Board of Trustees is providing bi-monthly FREE laundry services for Trenton residents! The facility is located at 434 North Clinton Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638. Transportation to and from the facility can be arranged. From the Watershed Institute: “Life can get really busy and overwhelming. Take a deep breath and come spend a few hours in nature with us. The environment, ecology, plants, animals, and the Assunpink Creek are all part of the communities we work, play, and live in. Although we are all part of this natural system, it becomes easy to feel stranded and separate from nature in the bustle of everyday life. During the event, we will reflect on what you see, learn to better understand our place in the local environment, and participate in some guided meditation outdoors.
** We will be providing yoga mats, snacks, journals (and pens), and Spanish interpretation during this event. The event will be outside so please dress warmly if necessary. In the event of rain, the event will be moved inside into a nearby community center. **”
From 1-4PM, there will be a FREE clothing distribution at the East Trenton Center for those in need!
After the April Community Meeting, starting at 6:30PM head over to the East Trenton Center for our second City Council Meet & Greet with Trenton’s At-Large Representatives, including Councilwoman Crystal Feliciano, Councilwoman Jasi Edwards, and Councilwoman Yazminelly Gonzalez!
