The East Trenton Center

The East Trenton Center hosts a variety of community-building programs, activities, and events, in partnership with local organizations and community groups:

  • Educational workshops and courses on a variety of topics, including health and wellness, banking and credit repair, and more are held regularly at the East Trenton Center.

  • ETC staff provides resource and referral services, connecting residents to local organizations that may be able to provide further assistance with their needs.

  • The East Trenton Center is a site for UrbanPromise Trenton’s CampGrace afterschool and summer camp.  The afterschool program is a 10-month program offered daily, Monday through Thursday, for children in grades 1-8.  The summer camp is a 5-week program offered daily Monday through Friday, for children who will be entering grades 1-8 in the fall.

  • Every Friday, ETC provides fresh produce and other food items through generous donations from area growers, retailers, churches, and individuals.

  • ETC also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the Spring Kick-Off, National Night Out, and Snacks with Santa, to celebrate community, and provide community-oriented gatherings for everyone to enjoy.

ETC believes that having access to a variety of education and recreation programming options is an important component of a healthy and active community.  Additionally, activities that connect residents to supportive services can assist neighborhood families to gain or maintain stability.  All of these activities together promote community connections and positive relationships.   Through the East Trenton Center, ETC seeks to provide East Trenton residents with a safe and welcoming space to gather together, grow personally, and build community with one another.
